Physician Assistants (PA) are highly trained health care professionals who practice medicine as members of a team with a supervising colon and rectal surgeon. Emily has been with us since 2014. Aubrey rotated with Dr. Murphy as part of her school training and fell in love with colorectal surgery and our practice. As soon as she graduated, she became part of our team.
Our Physician Assistants deliver a wide range of medical and surgical services. As part of our comprehensive approach to patient care, our Physician Assistants conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive health care, assist in surgery and prescribe medications. Aubrey has a very extensive experience in the management of InterStimâ„¢ and sacral neuromodulation patients. She also has spent countless hours in the operating room making her an experienced surgical assist in open, laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
